This is a Medieval bread oven from France! (as if the post title didn't give it away) It's in my friend's backyard. They still use it. From what I understand, it was buried until a few years ago when they found it again. Sadly, I doubt our oven will be quite this epic, but thought this was very cool.
For our update, we have found a place where we can assemble our oven, out in Sooke, and not set anyone's house on fire. Or get the cops called on us. Fiery failure is still an option though.
Yeah, Wulfie said we could use his yard. he might have something we can use as a base so as to make a small oven more portable. We might be able to haul it up to Goldstream in a couple weeks. That'd be cool.
